History with 6 milestones   1958 Milestone 1 Foundation of Pedrolit GmbH, Factory for plastic welded articles situated in Zurich-Affoltern. Range: Rainwear and all sorts of products made of plastics, e.g. office supplies like folders and wrappings or cases for water beds

1966 Milestone 2
In the years 1966 and 1967, start of a cooperation with the EIR (Federal Institute of Reactor Research) today the Paul Scherrer Institute in Würenlingen. Three types of protective suits had been developed. This was the lead-in to a new era, the “atomic industry”
 

1971 Milestone 3
In the early seventies, international contacts with Germany, Belgium, Holland and Scandinavia had been tightened. This was one of the reasons to look for an up-to-date name of the company. The forename of the founder seemed to be suitable. Pedi ! The Pedi GmbH soon expanded into other countries and markets. The production of rainwear, as well as the office equipment was abandoned step by step.
 

1982 Milestone 4
In the beginning of the eighties, the Pedi GmbH changed hands. The new owner continuously extended the existing range of products. The formation of a “limited company”(Pedi Ltd) was realized. Other customers, like the pharmaceutical industry and laboratories started to use Pedi products.
 

1992 Milestone 5
Move of Production plant and offices from Zurich to Oberentfelden. New domicile in Oberentfelden (near Aarau) in the grounds of Jakob Härdi AG.
 

2005 Milestone 6 Today’s headquarters of Pedi Ltd. What was once a plastic welding factory is now a modern and international well-known specialized company for personal and environmental protection systems.
